COVID-19 Specific Booking Guidelines and Supplemental Protocol
- Minnesota Street Project Art Services (MSPAS) must be made aware in the case of either of the following conditions in order to properly asses safety and feasibility of the requested booking:
- If anyone has been or will be at the booking location within 14 days of the requested job execution date, who has been diagnosed or come in contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19
- If anyone has been or will be at the booking location within 14 days of the requested job execution date, who has exhibited indications of any communicable illness, or any of the following symptoms:
- Fever
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Chills
- Repeated shaking with chills
- Muscle pain
- Headache
- Sore throat
- New loss of taste or smell
- If additional, staff, clients, or other parties are expected to be present during the requested time of job execution, all present persons must don appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while in the presence of our employees; the minimum acceptable being masks/face coverings.
- Complete MSPAS PPE protocol available on our website and upon request
- Should additional vendor presence be expected for any portion of the booking duration, MSPAS will need to be provided with that vendor’s contact information in order to coordinate any necessary safety measures.
- All persons present must adhere to the Center for Disease Control’s recommended social distance practice by maintaining at least 6 feet of separation at all times possible and adequate working space must be available to accommodate a team of 2 MSPAS employees to maintain the same, safe distance during job execution.
- MSPAS may not be able to complete jobs which require compromise(s) to social distancing standards.
- Whenever possible, and with prior written client consent, MSPAS can place objects at or collect objects from a dock or door to avoid or limit our staff from entering client homes or facilities. MSPAS will notify the client upon arrival, and will take photos of the location where the items are exchanged, for security and confirmation.
Art Services Supplemental Terms and Conditions during COVID-19
- In adhering to COVID-19 safety procedures, both on-site and at our facility, we anticipate that jobs will require more time than may have been expected of similar bookings prior to COVID-19.
- MSPAS staff are instructed to pause and call their Dispatcher should they encounter any change of job scope to that laid-out on their BOL or should any potential safety concerns arise. We expect an increased frequency of stops, calls to the office, and additional time on-site.
- All MSPAS staff are required to wear PPE (mask & gloves) when working in our facility, and additional PPE (shoe coverings) when in the field.
- Should our art handlers determine that an artwork cannot be adequately (un)packed at a job site without compromising social distancing standards, our art handlers may elect to (un)pack inside our transport vehicle(s). Artworks that cannot be (un)packed in a safe manner onsite or in our transport vehicle(s) may potentially not be exchanged and may be rescheduled.
- We discourage clients and vendors from using our iPad styluses to sign BOLs, and offer 2 options:
- MSPAS staff will print “c/o (Client Name)” on behalf of the client. The BOL will be emailed to the client, who will reply to the email prior to our team’s departure as proof of service fulfillment.
- If a client requires their own signature, MSPAS staff will sanitize iPads and styluses (with a 70%alcohol solution) prior to, and following, the client signing.
- For multiple destination jobs, vehicle cleaning will be required between each stop.
